Australia zoo is located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. This is the one of the biggest animal’s parks in Australia. The Australia Zoo was launched by Bob and Lyn Irwin at 1970. The first name of Australia Zoo was Beerwah Reptile Zoo. In 1991, the management of the zoo was taking over by Bob and Lyn son, Stave Irwin.  Stave Irwin died on 4 September 2006 because he was pierced in the chest by a stingray at the Great Barrier Reef. Currently, the Australia Zoo is owned by Terri Irwin. Terri Irwin is the wife of Stave.

There are three types of animals in Australia Zoo such as Mammals, Birds and reptiles. mammals are the highest class of vertebrates and the female has secrete milk for nourishment of young birth. Mammals are warm blooded and the majority of mammals covered their body with hair. In Australia Zoo there are many various species of mammals such as Binturong, Camels, Ceetahs, Dingoes, Elephants, Giraffe, Kangaroos and others.  
Beautiful Birds in Australia Zoo

Birds are warm-blooded, egg-laying, vertebrate animals. They are covered in feathers and their forelimbs are modified into wings which are used for flight. Their feathers are highly protective against cold and also against water. Birds have adapted for flight with their bones being made up of a honeycomb structure so as to reduce their structural weight. They also have acute eyesight and hearing but little sense of smell. The species of birds in Australia Zoo such as Cormorants and Darters,  Exotic Parrots, Finches Honeyeaters, Ibis, Kingfishers, Native Parrots, Nightjars, Pittas, Raptors, Ratites, Stone-curlews, Storks and Cranes. 
Saltwater Crocodile
  Animals that have dry scaly skin and are ectodermic (cold-blooded) vertebrates are called reptiles. This does not mean that they necessarily have cold blood but rather that they cannot regulate their own body temperature through any means other than modifying their behavior. To heat up they use an external heat source within their environment such as basking in the sun or sitting on a hot rock. The majority of reptile groups also live on land, although there are a few that have specialized to live in water. Reptiles can only breathe air and do not possess gills. They have thick waterproof skins to retain their body moisture. The Australia Zoo reptiles are Boas and Pythons, Crocodilians, Lizards, Tortoises and Turtles and Venomous Snake.

The Australia Zoo offers many types of shows to visitors. Visitors can get up close and personal to the great and wonderful animals and experience it self all the wildlife action at Australia Zoo daily shows. Visitors can learn about crocodile, hand feed elephants, live with wildlife in the Crocoseum and more activities. There are activities such as Kids Story Time, Morning Otters Live, Tortoises Live, Morning Elephants Hands-on and others.
